Nicole will also be working with collection managers across the state, serving as the project lead for the creation, maintenance, and stewardship of those collections. She will also be actively involved in providing training for PaPD and other POWER Library services.
Nicole brings over a decade of experience working in special collections libraries including the Science History Institute, Bryn Mawr College, the Library Company of Philadelphia, and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. Nicole is also a board member of the Friends Historical Association and, until recently, served as co-chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee of the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries (PACSCL).
Nicole earned her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel University’s College of Computing and Informatics; she has also recently completed the coursework for Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. In her free time, Nicole enjoys volunteering for the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting Library where she also serves on the Library Committee.
