Chat with a Librarian - Your Virtual Reference Backup Service
Did you know that your library has a full virtual reference backup service available to you through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries and POWER Library?  Chat with a Librarian is Pennsylvania's live virtual reference service, available free to all residents of the state, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Think of Chat as your library’s virtual reference backup system, there for your patrons when you can't be!  To find out more, and learn how to place a link to the service on your website, visit the POWER Library:  For Librarians - Linking to Chat page.

Support Issue Notice
Are you waiting for a response from HSLC?
An unexpected complication following recent maintenance to our Help Desk has caused some issues with support tickets being generated or updated. If you submitted a new or follow-up request for support within the past two weeks, and have not received a response from an HSLC staff member, please submit your request again by emailing support@hslc.org.

For open requests, please reference the ticket number in your subject line when emailing us. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to correct the issue. Thank you!
