While all of these collections can be searched simultaneously using the GALE Power Search resource, the individual collections offer more focused search results. Additionally, the individual collections provide many opportunities for targeted promotion on websites, social media, etc.

Your lending policy dictates whether borrower requests for items at your library will even enter your request queue. If your policy isn’t up to date, items could be automatically rejected for requests or renewals even if the request is one you actually would honor. The Lending Policy is part of your Participant Record.

Usage Statistics Can Be Sent To You Monthly

Taking a look at your usage statistics once a month is a good way to spot potential problems. For instance, if you forgot to tell us about an IP change there would be an unusual increase in remote usage and a drop in in-library usage. Working together we can usually figure out the source of a problem and fix it.

POWER Library participants can have their e-resource usage statistics sent to them monthly. To set up email reports, choose Profile on the side navigation bar in the Current Statistics module and then click the Edit Profile button. Choose the Yes button that appears under Email Monthly Reports.

Access PA/POWER Library Fee Increase for 2022-2023

The annual Access PA / POWER Library technology support fee will increase by approximately 10% effective with fiscal year 2022-2023. This is the first increase in the support fee rates since 2009. Participants currently paying $230 per year will pay $250, and participants that pay $295 per year will pay $325. If your school serves an economically distressed community and receives a discount on your annual fee, the same discount will be applied to the new amount. Please do not hesitate to reach out to support with any questions.
