Survey Being Conducted to Help Refresh the POWER Library Website!
The POWER Library website was created in 2013. While it has done well to stand the test of time, the addition of services, updated navigation trends, etc., are prompting us to obtain feedback from users of all types as the first step in refreshing the POWER Library website.

To that end, we are conducting a survey that will include prominently placed invitations throughout the POWER Library. The survey will be available until May 31.

We need your help to get feedback from non-users!
A POWER Library website refresh is in the works, and HSLC seeks feedback from both users and non-users.  However, getting the attention of non-users is not easy!  Are you able to assist us, by promoting our feedback survey link on your website for a few weeks?

We would greatly appreciate your assistance by copying and pasting the code below to associate it with the graphic image provided in a prominent location on your website, or you can download the image and link it to our survey webpage, using the webpage we have provided.

Accessibility Widget Added to POWER Library!
An accessibility widget has been added to the POWER Library website to increase the usability for users who need accessibility support. The addition of the widget will increase the compliance of POWER Library with WCAG 2.1, ADA, ATAG 2.0, EN 301-549, and Section 508 regulations.

Spring Training:
Limited Live Stream Opportunity Added!
Live Stream Pilot Project to Stream Select Sessions
In an effort to offer access to live training as an accommodation for those not able to attend in-person due to the mask requirement, HSLC will convene a pilot project by live streaming two of the sessions at the March 30 training.

The sessions to be live streamed will be:
  • Access PA and Interlibrary Loan: Putting it all together with SHAREit (9 AM – 11:45 AM)
  • POWER Library, Resource Accessibility, and the School Library: How POWER Library Can Help Bridge the Gap (1:30 PM – 3:45 PM)
We do not plan to make recordings available for viewing later. We apologize in advance if we are not streaming your preferred sessions, but this is our first attempt to live stream. We will evaluate the experience for all parties, and determine if it is feasible for future opportunities.
