Beginning Thursday July 27th, ALL Access PA participants will be placed in Holiday Mode through Tuesday August 1st.
HSLC will place all accounts in Holiday Mode. Participants will not have to take any action. If we get to August 1st and there is no strike, everything in Access PA will go back to normal on Wednesday, August 2nd. If we get to August 1st and there is a strike, we will keep the entire cooperative in Holiday Mode for the duration of the strike or until a viable alternative becomes available. Once the strike is over, the moratorium will go on for several days or more (depending on length of strike) past the end of the strike to allow for “catch up” at the shipping depots and a return to standard logistics. Note that all K-12 institutions are already in Holiday Mode through 9/11/2023. If a strike were to go on longer than that, schools will be lumped in with all other participants and be reactivated post-strike accordingly. While this solution is not ideal, when there are more than 800 active participating institutions, anything other than an all or nothing proposition was going to create a myriad of complications. We certainly appreciate your patience in this matter. |
