PA Photos and Documents Welcomes New Contributor!
The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
Their first contribution is the The Lucy Say Illustrations collection that consists of pencil and watercolor drawings, hand-colored plates of North American mollusks and other animals, and early experimental etchings produced by Lucy Way Say. The collection also contains drawings by other artists: two sketches by James Morton, watercolors by Titian Ramsay Peale, an early etching by Alexander Wilson, a watercolor of Floridan mollusks attributed to Charles Alexandre Lesueur, and one sketch by Maximilian, Prinz von Wied.
