E-Resources Update for FY2025
Most E-Resources will continue!
Despite the continually evolving landscape, HSLC is happy to report that most E-Resources will remain available through POWER Library for Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2025-June 30, 2026). The exceptions are TrueFLIX and Cricket Media E-Books.

A decision had to be made between continuing BookFLIX or TrueFLIX, and based on survey feedback from patrons and library staff, BookFLIX was the clear preference.

As for Cricket Media E-Books, the platform’s interface did not meet expectations for use by an elementary-aged audience. To help fill the gap left by the discontinuation of both Cricket Media E-Books and TrueFLIX, additional e-books focused on history and biography will be acquired from Gale and added to the E-Book Collection E-Resource.

PA Photos and Documents Welcomes New Contributor!
Ridley Park Public Library
Their first contribution is the Ridley Park High School Yearbooks collection. The initial uploads include yearbooks from the 1960's. Eventually, the collection will span from 1928 to 1966, the final year before Ridley Park High School closed. The school was closed and later demolished following the creation of the Ridley School District in 1966, which consolidated area schools into a single district.
