Public Libraries:
Check Your Entry in
Find a PA Library
Is the link to your website correct?
The Find a PA Library lookup on the POWER Library website is used by residents to locate public libraries nearest a location. The result for each public library provides:
  • A link to the library's website
  • Address
  • Distance from the location entered in the search
  • A link to directions
Please check the entry for your library and let us know if information should be updated.

Update
We'll be ready for a full launch soon!
We are currently in a soft launch phase for OverDrive as we fine-tune the POWER Library collections. Public promotion will begin once everything is ready, which is currently planned for September 22.

Please note below the access options based on various scenarios:

For patrons of public libraries that ARE OverDrive customers
Patrons will be able to add POWER Library as a library in OverDrive/Libby and sign in with their existing OverDrive credentials.

For patrons of public libraries that are NOT OverDrive customers
Patrons will first need to register for an E-Card. Then, complete a PIN request form before accessing POWER Library in OverDrive/Libby.

For existing E-Card users
Patrons must complete the PIN request form before they can access POWER Library’s OverDrive collections.

For K–12 schools using Single Sign-On (SSO)
Since OverDrive/Libby requires individual accounts, school users will need either a public library card or a POWER Library E-Card.
About the POWER Library OverDrive Collections
POWER Library's OverDrive collections are intended to supplement, not replace, what your local library already offers, and include popular and accessible titles available to all Pennsylvanians. Approximately 11,000 e-books and 2,000 audiobooks will be available.

Many of the titles are geared toward tween and teen audiences, focusing on these subjects: Animals and Nature; Biographies & Autobiographies; Emotional Well-Being; Fiction; Hi-Lo; Science & Nature; Sports & Recreation; STEAM; World & Culture. Additionally, also included are comics and graphic novels from Disney, Marvel, Dark Horse, and more!
A curated OverDrive Max Collection will be included, and for the first time in POWER Library we’re adding audiobooks available in collections from Duke Classics, Blackstone Audio, Tantor Media, and W.H. Howe.
